Perfect barrel in January.

Introduction

Sitting at work Tuesday afternoon. Blah! Planning a Wednesday surf assault on the entire county, but during the PM it was boring. Then a pleasant email arrived. BwSurfRf sent a few pics of the wave action that morning at the Rivermouth. Mouthwatering it was! So here's a short column featuring just a few of the pics from BwSurfRf, himself an avid DogMan Chronicles reader.


Hiding from the tensions of modern life.

Just a short column, most current work is devoted to the D2DB2B processing of words, videos and pictures. So this week belongs to BwSurfRF! Thanx for the cool pics.

You'll be seeing results from the Dawn to Dusk, Border to Border surf trek on coming weeks. For now, here's a few numbers from that day, Wednesday 19, 2005:

  • 12 hours, 30 minutes elapsed time.
  • 148 miles driven.
  • Almost seven gallons of gasoline burned.
  • 21 surf spots visited.
  • 14 waves ridden personally.
  • 905 total pictures exposed.
  • 80 total pictures edited so far.
  • 36 minutes of video captured.
  • 10 pages written in the logbook.
  • 4 new surf friends met.
  • 5 feet of tide swing.
  • 11.5 feet of swell with 16 second periods from 290 degrees.
